Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy An McClenny in 1950 on the 3rd February is an American actress. The actress gained fame in the 1970s and into the early 80s through her continued roles in various television shows, in which she was seen as a glamourous actress. Fairchild's career began in 1973 as Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. In 1978 she appeared on the primetime soap opera Dallas as the first actress to play Jenna Wade before taking a lead role in the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Television Series Drama). In 1984 she co-starred in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls which followed by a stint in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts between 1985 and 1986. Fairchild played in theatre, as well as in guest roles on television programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. She was even considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 due to her performance in the program. She serves as a board member of SAG-AFTRA. She was born in Louisville Kentucky to a hotel manager and a domestic worker, Lawson was passionate about acting as early as she was a child.
