Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's father, was first seen on stage in the role of Flora McGrath. For this role, she won an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress for the romantic comedy The Piano at the young age of 11. She was the second-youngest winner in Oscar the history of Oscars.
