Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for a total of twenty years. Most well-known is for her role in House in the series House on Fox. Raised in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved in New York City at the age of eighteen to study theater at Tisch School of the Arts. The school was very active in the club scene, creating enough controversy to draw the attention of the media. Then, she used her experiences as well as her celebrity to write and compose a musical titled Positive Me in which she was a part of. Awake in the Wild Side was her next assignment. When it ended up going off the show, she started appearing in television and film productions at first in small roles but then gradually becoming an actor.
